History

The Integrability in Gauge and String Theory (IGST) conference series, initiated in 2005, has established itself as a key annual event in theoretical physics, focusing on advances in gauge theory and string theory integrability. Over the years, it has traveled globally, hosted by prominent institutions in cities like Paris, Potsdam, Stockholm, Zurich, and Sao Paulo among others, fostering a space for collaboration and discourse among experts in the field.

The 2025 edition, marking the 20th anniversary of IGST, returns to King’s College London, celebrating the conference’s tenth year since its first London event. Top speakers and advisory members for IGST 2025 include distinguished scientists, who will lead discussions on topics ranging from quantum field theories to holographic systems and beyond. This conference continues the IGST tradition of encouraging collaboration across career stages, advancing integrability as a key tool in theoretical physics.

This year, the conference is generously funded by the ERC Consolidator Grant EXACTC, supporting its mission to bring together leading researchers.
